Online Counselling

The landscape for receiving counselling has changed dramatically over recent years. Online and telephone counselling had become, for at least a short time, the only way to receive therapy, particularly through COVID.

Online counselling and psychotherapy, via secure video link, via telephone, via messaging/text*.

*Please note messaging / text is not appropriate for all presenting issues. Please contact me to discuss further if this modality is suitable.

Although I have now returned to face to face for clients who are local, I have continued to offer online counselling to my clients as actually, some prefer it.

Online counselling is convenient, with no travel time, you decide the location where you feel most comfortable i.e. at home, in your car (whilst parked and in a safe location) even in your office and you are taking limited time out of your day to attend.

I am privileged (and insured) to work with people from all over the world, through many different time zones and now, more than ever, we can choose a therapist who we really align with, not just who is most local.

Online counselling is not the poor relation of face to face work.

Although different, it is still provides the opportunity for us to connect, talk and experience therapy. For some, it is highly convenient with no travel time or costs.

It allows you to access the therapist who is most suited to you, not just the most local and so long as you have good quality internet (for online) and a safe and confidential space, it can feel very comfortable. This can be in your home, in an outdoor space, maybe an office or even car if it works for you.

I have worked online locally, nationally and with clients in Europe and Worldwide for some time now, and just because a client moves or relocates it doesn't mean the therapy has to end.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
